Apply for permit for an abnormal transport

If you need a permit for a abnormal transport or if you apply on the behalf of another haulers, you must apply for a permit at The Danish Road Directorate. Applying requires eID, if your country doesn’t have a digital ID, please request an applications form at Transport@vd.dk.    

Before applying, you must have the following information ready: 

• Information about the applicant and the haulier

• Information about the time period for transport

• Information about the type, weight and dimensions of the goods

• Information about the nature, weight and dimensions of the transport

• Information about the route or selected areas (for general permits)

• Relevant appendices (classification certificate, certificate for heavy flatbed modules, survey, etc.)
