We process your personal data for the following purposes:
The Board of Psychologists and the National Board of Appeal are jointly responsible for the processing of the personal data we have about you. The National Board of Appeal provides the secretariat for the board, which is responsible for the preparatory case processing before a case is processed by the board.
In the Board of Psychologists and the National Board of Appeal, we process information about you because we process an application from you regarding permission to use the title as a psychologist in Denmark.

The psychologist act. § 1. Only those who have passed a master's degree in psychology or an equivalent examination at a university or other higher education institution have the right to describe themselves as a psychologist.

We will not transfer personal data to recipients outside the EU and the EEA.
Currently, we cannot say how long we will keep your personal data. However, we can inform you that we regularly transfer the information from our case processing to the Rigsar archive. We follow the rules of the Archives Act and the provisions of the National Archives.
If personal information about you has been submitted, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This can be done by contacting us.
If you choose to withdraw your consent, it does not affect the lawfulness of our processing of your personal data based on your previously given consent and up to the time of the withdrawal. Therefore, if you withdraw your consent, it will only take effect from this time.
