The decision on whether or not to issue an authorisation will be made as soon as possible after all necessary documents have been received. Normally you can expect to get an answer from The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration within four weeks. Danish Veterinary and Food Administration will confirm the registration to you in writing.
The registration cannot be taken as having been completed if you have not heard from Danish Veterinary and Food Administration within the set time. You may not begin your activity until you have received the confirmation.
In case of rejection
If The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration decides to reject your application for authorisation, you will receive a reasoned notification. If you disagree with the decision to refuse your application, you have the right to appeal. The deadline for submitting an appeal is four weeks from date on which the decision was announced.
