Danish Veterinary, Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Agency does not disclose personal data to third parties for marketing or other commercial purposes.
Danish Veterinary, Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Agency discloses personal data to other authorities as part of their exercise of public authority, for statistical, scientific and research purposes. In addition, we disclose personal data to other parties if we are obliged under other legislation - including access to documents under the Public Access to Information Act and the Environmental Information Act.
Danish Veterinary, Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Agency collects personal data from other public authorities if it is necessary to fulfil our statutory obligations.
Danish Veterinary, Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Agency collects and processes data in connection with the use of the self-service solutions made available by the agency, as well as other channels, e.g. reception of telephone or physical inquiries.
Danish Veterinary, Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Agency may also contact you on its own and collect and process updated personal data in connection with the control and validation of contact information and identity for registrants by searching in the CPR, CVR and CHR in cases where it is necessary to ensure that personal data, we process about you is correct, which is a requirement according to the bookkeeping legislation and the General Data Protection Regulation. Therefore, it is also important that you regularly report changes in your personal data to the Danish Agency for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries.
We delete your personal data when it is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which we collected, processed and stored it, taking into account compliance with the archiving rules. Even if you cease your business, for example, we may be obliged to store your data, cf. the state's archiving rules or the rules on the duty to keep records in the Public Administration Act, for at least five years. For example, if it is information that we need in order to determine any claims that may arise from a contractual relations, we may store the information for longer than five years.
Information is stored in accordance with the principles of the Public Access to Information Act, so that it is accessible for public access in the public administration. In addition, the instructions of the National Audit Office and the National Archivist for records are followed.

Right of access
You have the right to obtain access to the data we process concerning you, together with a number of other data.
Right to rectification (correction)
You have the right to have incorrect data concerning you rectified.
Right to erasure
In special cases, you have the right to have data concerning you erased before the time of our ordinary general erasure.
Right to restriction of processing
In certain cases, you have the right to restrict the extent to which we process your personal data. If you have the right to restrict processing, we will henceforth only process information with your consent – with the exception of storage – or if a legal claim can be established, exercised or defended, or to protect a person or important public interests.
Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. If your objection is justified, we will cease processing your personal data. You may object at any time to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.
