Keepers responsible for mink farms (temporary provision)

A farm with mink and the person responsible for the keeping of mink shall initially be registered at the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration.

Dette skal du bruge:

A person who wishes to be keeper of a mink farm on a temporary basis or as an occasional pursuit, must notify the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration. The notification must be renewed on a yearly basis.

The notification must contain the following information:

  1. Name

  2. Home address

  3. Potential address in Denmark

The first notification must be accompanied by the following documents:

  1. Proof of nationality

  2. Certificate from the competent authorities in the country of establishment, that the applicant is legally established in the country to exercise the profession in question

  3. Certificate from the competent authority of the country of establishment, that the service provider has not received permanent or temporary ban or similar to exercise the profession in question.

If the person wishes to establish himself, and provide services on a permanent basis, this must be approved by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration. Read more and apply here.
