The Danish Working Environment Authority collects personal data for the purpose of registering a given child’s work permit and to inform the child’s parents or guardian(s) about the work permit.
The basis in law for our processing of your personal data ensues from:
Article 6, para. 1, letter e of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the General Data Protection Regulation)

We process the following categories of personal data about you: Identification data regarding individual persons or companies.
We disclose your personal data or make it available to the following recipients: Data processors.
Your personal data originates from your use of the Danish Working Environment Authority’s self-service solution. If we do not receive your personal data, it will not be possible to apply for a work permit.
We store your personal data for as long as we need it or are obliged to do so. We store your information securely and confidentially in our IT systems, where access is controlled and limited to those employees who need it in their work.
Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation, you have several rights in relation to our processing of data concerning you. If you wish to exercise your rights, you must contact us.
Right of access
You have the right to obtain access to the data we process concerning you, together with a number of other data.
