We process the personal data for the following purpose:

• Application on preforming self-monitoring of your ship

The legal basis for our processing of the personal data arises from:

• Technical Regulation on the conduction of surveys and internal inspections, No. 8 of 15 July 2004, § 3.

We process following catagories of personal data:

• Personal data: Company name, CVR-Number, company address and other contact information related to your company

We transfer or assign personal data to the following receivers:

• Danish Police

• Other public authorities

None

• The Danish Maritime Authority’s online booking system

• Virk.dk

We store your personal data for 2 or 3 weeks while processing your case. Data registered and kept in our journal system 360 and F2 will not be deleted.

If personal data about you has been handed over, you have, at any time, the right to withdraw your consent. You can do this by contacting us.

If you choose to withdraw your consent, it does not affect the legality of our processing of your personal data based on your former given consent and up to the time of withdrawal. Therefore, if you withdraw your consent, this will only become effective from this time.

You have, through the Genereal Data Protection Regulation, multiple rights regarding our processing of data about you. If you would like to make use of your rights, you have to contact the Danish Maritime Authority.

Right to see data (Right of access)

You have the right to gain access to the data about you that we process, and a number of additionally data.

Right to rectification (correction)

You have the right to rectify incorrect data about yourself.

Right to erasure

In special cases, you have the right to get data about you erased before the time when our normal general erasure happens.

Right to restriction of processing

In certain cases, you have the right to get the processing of your data restricted. If you have the right to get the processing restricted, we may in the future only process the data – except from storage – with your consent, or in order to determine, enforce or defend a legal claim, or to protect a person or important public interest.

Right to objection

In some cases, you have the right to object against our processing of your personal data.

Right to transmit data (dataportability)

In some cases, you have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format, and get these data transferred from one controller to another, without hindrance.
