Power of attorney: Relatives or others as party representative (general)

The power of attorney can be submitted by both the principal and the power of attorney holder.

When the power of attorney holder submits the form to the Motor Vehicle Agency, the power of attorney form must be digitally signed by the principal.  

If you are a citizen and cannot complete the digital form, or if you are exempt from Digital Post, you can download, fill out, and send a PDF form.

When the Danish Motor Vehicle Agency receives personal data from citizens, we have a duty to provide information pursuant to Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. If we receive information about a citizen from someone other than the citizen himself, we have a duty to provide information pursuant to Article 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
