Submit proposals for acquisitions via the Acceleration Fund or the Industry Fund for Ukraine

When you have submitted your proposal, you will receive an electronic receipt of your proposal(s) that includes a summary of the information you have entered. The email will also include a unique ID number for each proposal.

Changes to existing proposals

The unique ID number enables you to elaborate on or update existing proposals, e.g., due to changes in production capacity.

Please be aware that it is necessary to re-enter all the information in each field even though you are referring to an existing proposal. The unique ID simply helps establish the connection to your previous proposal.

Evaluation process at DALO

DALO will evaluate your proposal(s) with particular focus on whether it is relevant to and requested by the Danish Defence and/or Ukraine, time of delivery, security of supply, etc. The proposal will also be evaluated against proposals submitted from other companies. 

Purpose and function

The Acceleration Fund was established to accelerate the “build-up” of Danish Defence fighting capabilities via acquisitions from the Danish and foreign defence industries. Acquisitions under the Acceleration Fund must contribute to enhance intelligence and surveillance capacities, strengthening the defence of the Kingdom of Denmark, and strengthen Denmark’s contribution to NATO deterrence and defence capabilities. 

Resources and timeframe

A total of DKK 50 billion has been allocated to the fund, to be distributed evenly in 2025 and 2026. An additional 10 billion will been allocated each year in 2027-2033 to cover expenses resulting from decisions made within the framework of the Acceleration Fund.

Criteria and focus areas

The funds have been allocated to provide a broader and more flexible financial and procedural framework for the Danish Defence to acquire the capacities which can be purchased and put into use with the highest possible speed. The funds can also be used for military support of Ukraine, e.g. via the Industry Fund. 

The funds are dedicated to activities that will enhance the fighting capabilities of the Danish Defence quickly and in the short term, including capabilities that can be acquired and put into use directly.

The Acceleration Fund

Purpose and function

The funds have been allocated for donations to Ukraine of military grade equipment acquired from the Danish as well as foreign defence industries. The purpose is to meet Ukraine’s demand for military equipment, and ensuring Danish national security interests.

Financial framework and timeframe

A total of DKK 3.7 billion have been allocated from 2024-2026.

Criteria and focus areas

Acquisitions via the Industry Fund must be made within the following seven prioritized areas:

1. Air Defence Systems and air capabilities

2. Mine clearance capabilities

3. Maritime capabilities

4. Autonomous and unmanned systems

5. Critical maintenance and logistics systems

6. Command and Control, Communication Systems, and Cyber Technology

7. Individual Equipment and Soldier Gear

It is a political priority that DKK 500 million are spent on airborne drones/UAS each year in 2025 and 2026.

Acquisitions are made on the basis of Ukrainian demands and requests, Danish national security interests, and delivery time.

The fund is dedicated to the procurement of military equipment which has already been fully developed and is ready for production and delivery. Proposals for innovation- or development projects involving equipment, technology or systems can be submitted to the Innovation Fund for Ukraine.

The deadline for submitting proposals to the Industry Fund in 2025 is July 1st 2025. Proposals submitted after this date will be saved and considered in 2026.
